I have a German Sheppard/Border Collie puppy who is about a year and a half now. Let me tell you that this dog of mine CHEWS EVERYTHING. I have gone through countless collars. I leave him alone with his collar ON HIM for 15 minutes (and not loosley on, it’s tight around his neck but he hasn’t grown into his coat yet and has all this extra flab around his neck) and he has chewed through the plastic buckle, and shredded most of it. After buying the “chew proof” collars and “extra tough” collars, nothing has stopped him. I still don’t understand how he chews them off of himself. I’ve had roommates let him out while I was at work and I come home and there is pieces of his collar all over the living room. He has chewed through harness after harness (in a ten minute drive to a dog park, or at the dog park, I throw a ball and he would run around a tree and by the time I catch up, it’s wrecked), chewed apart the buckles on my other dogs harness etc.This collar is heavy duty, and I mean double layer heavy duty. It has a velcro strap under the metal buckle which is great because then his fur doesn’t get pinched in the buckle. And the BUCKLE is my favourite part. He won’t be able to crack it because it is thick metal. Also, the D-ring, is well secured in the collar too which is awesome! My dog has managed to rip D-rings off of a few collars while walking (while training, he used to chase squirrels or get over excited to see other dogs and one yank and he was gone) he also ripped one out of a harness on a lead in the yard, bent the ring and tore the fabric ($50 “heavy duty” harness for big dogs), so having a solid D-ring was important to me too. When I found this collar, I thoughtnit might be too good to be true, but I decided to try it since he even chewed his training shock/vibrate/beep collar apart, and I am very impressed with the quality! I have a good feeling about this one which I haven’t been able to say about any of the recent ones I over payed for and was disappointed with. Will keep you posted!

Love this collar, the handle is so handy and it’s adjustableEasy to clean (I have washed it multiple times in the laundry machine with athletic clothes on cold and air dry and it is still just as sturdy). I have the medium and the large for my Dutch shepherd and having a handle to grab when they are off leash for their protection or the protection of others is great

Exactly as pictured, and I’d definitely say it’s worth the price. So far, it seems durable, and I absolutely love the patch it comes with. Fits my GSD pup perfectly! It’s a little big for her, but I bought it for her to grow into (she’s only 7 months old). My only real complaint with it is, unless I just haven’t figured it out, it’s not really adjustable-friendly. But that could be me. But other than that, I love it so far and would defiantly order it again in a different color.Also came in really fast!
