I was impressed by how fast I rec’d it (1 day). We have a 13 yr old skinny Newfie/Standard Poodle . Recently groomed so he is practically naked (usually looks like Chewbacca), and needs a coat!I ordered an XXL for him and with the minor adjustments, it fits him perfectly . It is very warm and easy to get on and off. I love the fact that his chest is covered ; the snow doesn’t get in. it definitely IS wind and waterproof. His back, hips, shoulders are covered. Only problem was the elastic for back legs was sewn up too high and was practically in his butt (he has long legs). So I just won’t use the elastic straps . Overall I am very glad I purchased & dog loves it. Its the best dog coat I have come across.

This is the third jacket I’ve bought for my dog this season and it’s the winner. I have an xl American bully and ordered a 3xl. because he’s so muscly it’s hard to find a jacket that fits him correctly around the chest and belly. This coat is adjustable in multiple places which allows a perfect fit. I also love that the under belly pieces clip secure between the shoulders which stop it from popping open during play time like other jackets normally do !10/10

This dog coat is really great – easy to get on and off, moves with the dog, stays in place, reflector material is actually quite reflective. One of the seams where the reflective material runs in a stripe along one flank is not actually sewn and hangs/gapes open, gathering the rain/snow in it like a pocket.

Arrived as described. The XXXL coat on my “bigger than average” male Lab is a pretty good fit. I believe the XXL would have been a borderline proper fit. Fabric and stitching are very good. Adjustment of straps is easy. My photos show a blue color but camo green is the actual color. Sellers picture of a green coat is accurate. Happy with my purchase.

The provided measurements didn’t quite work, so my dog was swimming in this coat. But if it had fit, I’d have kept it and been happy with it. It seemed warm, well-made and durable. It definitely runs big.

I use a dog halter on my dog. I always hook the leash in the loop at the chest level and no on top of the neck! There is good access to the loop on the neck but there is no access for the chest. I’m sure that I’m not the only one! / Besides this, the coat slips on nicely and removes easily for a pup that has a hard time standing still! I LOVE IT!!

I bought this first for my 86lb lab. He’s 13, and has sore hips that fail in the cold. I was specifically looking for something that would cover his old hips. He loves his xxxl.I was impressed enough that I got another one for the 70lb in XXL. Now I’d tried the larger size on her, and it was miles too big…so I figured the XXL would be a good fit. It’s just a smidgen short.I like the “collar ” but wouldn’t trust it for a dog who pulls. It sits at the low part of the trachea.I love the “trenchcoat” design. It covers hips and shoulders and fits without inhibiting movements making it perfect for arthritic dogs.I’ve included photos of both dogs, to help buyers to see how the two sizes fit.
