Mielita almost never was. We never planned on starting a collar company. With a background in Education and Law, nobody could have guessed where the adventure would take us.
Turning Heads (and Tails) Since 2022
It all began in 2022 when we needed an outlet for her creative energy and wanted to find that special collar for Miel, our toy poodle. Eventually, we invested in some raw materials and decided to make our own. What started out as an idea making collars, has now grown into a team of over 8 talented professionals all working together, along with a number of other supporting companies and people. Each of them brings something valuable to the table, but they all have one thing in common: pride in creating top-quality, beautiful pet products that can be found around the world.

A great deal of time is spent researching and establishing relationships with suppliers, with a strong emphasis on materials sourced from the UK. Eko stars practices Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement events to ensure that we are always proud to put our name on every collar, leash, and harness that we ship.
